We've been very patient this whole pregnancy, because we've learned from experience how long 40 weeks can really be. So I'm still pretty far out - 3 months away. When I tell people my due date, I get the "oh you've got awhile" response. I think also in summer, saying something is in November seems so far away. But I think in a few weeks we'll be in "pretty soon" mode.
Room & Board
We don't have as much to prepare this time. With Addison of course we needed everything and showers, etc and had to move stuff out of our spare room to paint and make it a nursery and get rid of other things around the condo to make room.
With Eden it was moving Addison out of the nursery and into the spare room - so it was more preparing for her than for Eden!
This time, we will be moving Addison and Eden together to share a room, with a loft bed for Addison and moving Eden out of the crib/toddler bed into a full size bed. But we decided since baby usually spends most of the first couple months in our room at night, we would morph our room's open "sitting" space into a nursery for Minion in the first few months, buying us more time to cram the girls together into what is now Eden's room and make Addison's room the nursery.
So we still have as much if not more set up work to do this time, but we can do it gradually with no set date in mind.
Names
Not like we're going to be telling anyone the names ahead of time, but I can say we are very close. For the last couple weeks, we've been settling on one boy name and one girl name. Now, some name may come out of nowhere and make the list, but as it stands right now our "list" which started at most around 6-7 names/ ea only - is now down to 3 names in each gender, of which only one each is really standing out to us.
So we'll see, 3 months is still a long time so things can change, and while we have never wanted to make a name decision in the hospital - we've held off until 6weeks before usually to settle on the name.
Next up...
Next week is the glucose screening so I get to drink the flat orange soda and sit at the doctor's office for 2 hours, weee : /
I've passed the test no problem the other 2x so I'm hoping to go 3 for 3!

Week #25
Week 24 Doctor's Appointment
Quick and easy check-up this time. Minion's heart rate is 152, so that could mean a girl (above 140). Silly Baby and Baby Punkin were around 140.
I had to get ANOTHER blood test (not.a.fan) to monitor my thyroid. Whatever medical jargon I don't understand - but what I get from is my brain is sending signals of a hyperactive thyroid, but my thyroid glands are not listening. So in the end I'm fine but they just want to keep monitoring it which means more blood tests which is basically the worst thing ever for me.
In other news...
Heartburn is still here but still very manageable. Some days it doesn't even hit until I lay down at night, so taking Pepcid is just part of my getting ready for bed routine. If I get it throughout the day, I can usually chew some gum to make it go away or at least not as bad.
So right now I'd say the heartburn is easier in this pregnancy than the others, but I do still have a long way to go and I may just be remembering how terrible it was later on in the other pregnancies. So we'll see!
I don't really have any other ailments. No sciatica like I had with Eden. I get some leg cramps in my calves when I wake up in the morning, but nothing bad at all.
I'm getting the unsolicited comments around the workplace that I've "really popped!" But yet, there are some people who come up to me having just heard the news that I'm expecting. So I couldn't be that obvious if people are still just realizing I'm pregnant. Also depends on the shirt. On Thursday I was wearing a large shirt that I think made me look extra big and that's when I got the "you've really popped" comments. The very next day I wore a flowy shirt that wasn't as wide and almost appeared to conceal my bump - and on that day, I got comments that you could barely tell I was pregnant at all.
As this pregnancy goes on and I grow, I'm carrying higher than I was with Eden, and probably the same carriage as Addison. So, again, the gender guessing is all over the place! Although everyone keeps telling me they think I'm having a boy, but that's probably just what they think I'm hoping to have.
For the record - Tim & I think it's a girl :)
